About ITS Cooling
Innovative Thermal Solutions (itscooling.com) is a Guelph, Ontario-based engineering and manufacturing company specializing in thermal management for power electronics. We design and build friction stir welded (FSW) liquid cold plates, skived and extruded heat sinks, busbars, and complete thermal assemblies for customers in electric vehicles, battery energy storage (BESS), power electronics, and industrial markets. Our ISO 9001:2015-certified facility pairs Haas and Mazak CNC milling with advanced FSW technology to deliver high-quality, leak-proof products. We're growing fast and building a team that takes real pride in the work.

2020 – 2026
ITS Cooling Founded
Started with a vision to engineer high-performance thermal solutions.
First Facility & Machine
1200 sq ft space with our first CNC machine (Haas VF-5) and FSW.
Expansion Begins
Added second machine (Haas VF-6) and moved to a 2,300 sq ft facility.
Tradeshow Expansion Begins
Our 1st tradeshow we exhibited at was the Thermal Management Expo in Michigan. That was the start of expanding our sales at trade shows.
Scaling Operations
Expanded production capacity and strengthened engineering capabilities. Moved to a 6,000 sq ft facility.
Advanced Capabilities
Introduced Mazak and UMC-1000, 5-axis machines to expand manufacturing.
Where We Are Today
Operating from a 6,000 sq ft facility with a growing team of 27.
